Sara Penner Neustaeter

Sara Penner Neustaeter (nee Sawatzky), age 100 years, of Altona formerly of Gretna, Manitoba passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Eastview Place.

She is survived by her children Peter (Tina) Penner, David (Val) Penner, and Shirley Penner, her step children, Cornie (Kathy) Neustaeter, Pete (Julie) Neustaeter, John (Judi) Neustaeter, George (Yvonne) Neustaeter, Henry (Karla) Neustaeter, Tina (Edward) Dyck, and Linda (Harry) Hildebrand.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother.  She was predeceased by her first husband David J. Penner, her second husband Jacob Neustaeter, and by her son John.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gretna Bergthaler Mennonite Church with burial at the Gretna Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday and Friday, January 11 and 12 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
