It is with great sadness that the Community of Dominion City announces the sudden passing of Randy Walters on June 8, 2020 at the age of 60 years.
Randy was raised and lived his life in Dominion City. Randy’s love of life was his community and the people around him. Over the years his passions included curling, line dancing, fishing, golf and lending a helping hand where he could. Randy was a proud and dedicated volunteer, always eager to help any community facility and event. He could be seen at all community functions and social gatherings, helping in any way, socializing with people of all ages, or taking in a baseball or hockey game.
Randy was a valued employee with the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin and an active member of the Dominion City Fire Department for 29 years where he served with great pride and dedication.
Randy, your presence, your smile, and your stories will forever be remembered. You will be greatly missed.
The Emerson Franklin Fire Department will have a memorial parade for Randy on Saturday June 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Dominion City. We would ask people to come out of their homes to pay last respects to Randy as we pass by. We would also ask you to please social distance.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Dominion City Community Hall C/O Box 66, Dominion City, MB ROA OHO.
