Peter H. Klassen

Peter H. Klassen, age 80 years of the Rosenfeld area, formerly of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre.

He is survived by his children Helena (Herman) Knelsen, Jake (Trudie) Klassen, Sara (Henry) Banman, Abe (Justina) Klassen, Aganetha (Benhard) Neufeld, Maria Sawatzky, Peter (Tina) Klassen, Elizabeth (Cornelius) Fehr, John (Lisa) Klassen, Cornie (Nancy) Klassen, Henry (Lisa) Klassen, and Willie Klassen, as well as 58 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. He was predeceased by his wife Aganetha, one son in infancy, 2 sons-in-law, 1 grandson, 3 great grandchildren, and 5 siblings.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reinland Mennonite Church, Altona with burial at the Schoenthal Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Saturday, October 5 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
