Peter E. Hildebrandt

Peter E. Hildebrandt, age 93 years of Altona, formerly of Blumenort (west of Gretna), passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his children Harve (Joyce) Hildebrandt, Gary Hildebrandt, Ed (Joyce) Hildebrandt, Sandra Klassen, and Rick (Dorothy) Hildebrandt, as well as by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 sisters.  He was predeceased by his wife Susie Hildebrandt (nee Zacharias), son-in-law John Klassen, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Blumenort Mennonite Church in Rosetown, with burial at the Blumenort Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
