Mary Martens

Mary Martens (nee Hildebrand) age 92 years of Altona, formerly of Halbstadt, Manitoba passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre. 

She is survived by her children Les (Aggie) Martens, Ken (Hilda) Martens, Velvet Peters, Sheila (Glen) Kehler, Betty (Frank) Friesen, Pauline (Wally) Groot, Patty (Gerald) Wiebe, and Jackie Martens, as well as by 38 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Herman Martens, and son-in-law Bob Peters.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altona E.M.M. Church with burial at the Altona Town Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
