Mary Ann Pow

At the age of 79, Mary Ann peacefully passed away at her home residence in Emerson, Mb.

Mary Ann was born in Vita, Mb. She was raised on a farm in the Ridgeville, Mb area

In 1966, Norman and Mary Ann got married in Winnipeg. They bought their homestead in the Ridgeville area in 1969, starting with dairy till 1991. The remainder of their farming years were spent raising beef.

During Mary Ann’s working years, she was heavily involved in the 4H out of Ridgeville. Her passion in the last few decades of her life, was with WI (Woman’s Institute), besides being a farmer’s wife.

Mary Ann is predeceased by her parents, Ted (Edna) Steg, and her husband Norman. She is survived by her son, John (Tasha) Pow, her 2 grandchildren, Cayla and Dawson, her brother Lloyd (Delores) Steg, their 2 daughters, Doreen, and Barb; and their families 

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emerson Cemetery (please bring lawn chairs if you so wish).
