Margaret Giesbrecht

Margaret Giesbrecht (nee Krahn) age 97 years of Altona, formerly of Schoenwiese, Manitoba passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Eastview Place.

She is survived by her children Jake (Sarah) Giesbrecht, Cornie (Sarah) Giesbrecht, and Abe Giesbrecht as well as 6 grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Jacob Giesbrecht, her parents Cornelius and Anna Krahn, and 14 siblings.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chortitz Old Colony Mennonite Church, with burial at the church cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Atlona on Wednesday, June 26 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
