Lyndon Siemens

We regret to announce the passing of Lyndon Joel Siemens on February 18, 2025 in Kentucky. He passed away at the age of 44 years. He was found deceased in his semi in Kentucky. He was predeceased by both sets of grandparents and one uncle.

He is survived by his parents Larry and Elizabeth, his sister LaDawn Insull, and his brother and sister-in-law Lee and Alissa.

Lyndon was born on September 3, 1980 at Altona Hospital. He lived in the Amsterdam area until he turned 18. He lived with friends and moved numerous times. He went to school in Rosenfeld and Altona, and graduated in 1998. He had several jobs after high school including working at Fountain Tire. Lyndon decided he wanted to be a trucker. He worked for several local farmers until he turned 21 and was able to drive in the states. He drove for Reynold’s and several other companies. Several years ago he started driving for Richland Transport. He was an owner operator and hauled oversize loads.

He would often be gone 2-3 weeks at a time. When he would come home he enjoyed seeing friends and family. After a few days of being home he was ready to get back on the road again.

In 2011 Lyndon bought a house in Rosenfeld where he was still residing. He purchased a brand new semi in 2019, a Volvo with a Cummins engine. He was very proud to be able to do that. He also purchased a trailer when he started working for Richland.

Lyndon enjoyed a good joke and was always ready with a smile. He enjoyed playing baseball on Altona teams and later enjoyed watching the Blue Jays.

A celebration of life for Lyndon will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona EMM Church with Pastor Sam Doerksen officiating. Burial arrangements are pending and interment will take place at the Rosenfeld Cemetery.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
