Leonard Friesen

Leonard Friesen, age 81 years, of Altona formerly of Gretna passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre. 

He is survived by his wife Nita Friesen (nee Thiessen), 2 sons; Ron (Carey) Friesen, and Richard (Vickie) Friesen, one son in law Garrett Hildebrand, and their families.  He was predeceased by one daughter Debbie.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service. 

Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
