Katherine Thiessen

Katherine Thiessen, age 90 years, of Altona, formerly of Rosenfeld, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

She is survived by her children Linda (Jake) Dueck, Dave (Ruth) Thiessen, Dan (Elsie) Thiessen, Marianne (Henry) Heppner, and Laura (Brad) Dueck, as well as 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.  She was predeceased by her husband William H. Thiessen, 1 sister and 3 brothers.

A celebration of Katherine's life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church.  Interment will take place prior to the service at 9:45 a.m. at the Schoenweise Cemetery.  Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, December 26 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
