John "Jack" Hildebrand

John “Jack” Hildebrand, age 93 years, of Altona, formerly of Silberfeld, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Eastview Place Personal Care Home.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Hildebrand (nee Voth), their children, Brian (Mary Anne) Hildebrand, Hilda (Elmer) Hildebrand, and Allen Hildebrand, as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Altona Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church.  A private family burial will take place prior to the service.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, March 27 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Monday, March 28, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
