Jacob J. Sawatzky

Jacob J. Sawatzky, age 94 years of Altona, formerly of Halbstadt, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife Annie Sawatzky, his children Ellen (Harry) Schmidt, Irene (Allan) Funk, Harv (Shirley) Sawatzky, daughter-in-law Leona Sawatzky and their families.  He was predeceased by his first wife Helen Sawatzky, his son Albert, and one great granddaughter.

The funeral service for Jacob J. Sawatzky will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona with interment to follow at the Hochstadt Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday from 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
