Jacob F. Friesen

Jake F. Friesen, age 86 years of Altona, Manitoba, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Hilda, their children Linda (Rod) Buhr, Grace (Irv) Braun, and James (Tammy) Friesen, as well as by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by all of his siblings.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Saturday, March 3, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
