Ingrid Pokrant

It is with great sadness that we announce on January 6, 2022 the passing of loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Ingrid Pokrant (nee Krueger), born February 6, 1957.

Ingrid was predeceased by her dad Henry, mom Mary, and brother Richard; she is survived by her husband Mark of 44 wonderful years, her loving daughter Amy (Daniel), grandsons Sullivan and Holden who were the apples of her eye, brothers Hank (Marion), Bob, and sister Marlene (Mark).

Ingrid’s fight with cancer was met with grace, a great determination to survive, and love and care for her family and friends.

Ingrid loved her garden and spending winters in Arizona. She had many hobbies including painting, sculpting, blues music, gourd carving, writing, and, of course, discussing politics.

Some of Ingrid’s accomplishments were master gardener, interior designer, working for the League for Life and Alliance Action, TC Building office manager, and being the best oma, mother, and wife ever.

We know that Ingrid is sitting on her opa’s lap now like she loved doing as a child. We shall love and miss her forever.

A private funeral service will be held with interment at the Altona Cemetery.
