Henry Giesbrecht

Henry H. Giesbrcht beloved husband, father and grandfather reached his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 unexpectedly at the age of 80 at his residence. He leaves to mourn his wife Tina (Nee Fehr), his children Mel (Jeri-Anne), Garrett, Reid, Adria; Monica (Benjamin), Breanna, Brendan, Breion; Marlene (Lee Michael); Mark (Nicole), Brittany, Raymond.  He was predeceased by his father Reverend Martin M. Giesbrecht & mother Nettie (Harder), 2nd mother Tina (Klassen) and several siblings.

Henry cherished his faith in Jesus Christ and we will remember him for his kindness, humility, patience, good jokes, storytelling and his heart of gold. Throughout his life, he gladly volunteered in various positions at his church.

He retired from Transit with 28 1/2 years of service and during his retirement worked 16 years at River City Ford and enjoyed countless hours with his coffee friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morrow Gospel Church (755 St. Anne’s Rd.) Interment will take place at the Eigenhof Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.  Viewing will be at Morrow Gospel Church on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
