Helena Bergman

Helena Bergman (nee Penner), age 79 years of Altona, MB passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

She is survived by her husband John Bergman, their children Darlene (Steve) Dueck, Louise (Lin) Loewen, Rob (Terri) Bergman, Marci (Barron) Klassen, and Steve (Vally) Bergman, as well as by 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother.  She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

A celebration of Helena's life will held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona E.M.M. Church, with interment to follow at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Tuesday, February 25 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.

Donations in memory of Helena may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care, or to Boundary Trails Health Center Palliative Care.
