Helen Penner

Helen Penner, age 78 years of Altona, Manitoba, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Eastview Place.

She is survived by her children Maria (Peter) Sawatzky, Ed (Agatha) Penner, Bertha (Peter) Sawatzky, Frank (Lisa) Penner, Hilda (Abe) Unrau, John Penner, Anna (Frank) Peters, Jake (Barb) Penner, as well as 31 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Ben F. Penner (July 5, 2016), one son David Penner, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with interment at the Froese Family Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
