Helen Klassen

Helen Klassen, age 88 years of Altona, formerly of Sommerfeld, Manitoba, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg.

She is survived by her children Rick (Becky) Klassen, Ruth (Bruce) Friesen, and Alvina (Gerald) Hildebrand, as well as by 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband John L. Klassen.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church, with burial at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and at the church prior to the service.
