Gertrude Wiebe

Gert Wiebe (nee McDougall), age 98 years, of Altona formerly of Winnipeg, MB, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

She is survived by her children Debbie (Bill) Hildebrand, and Terry Wiebe, as well as 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Abram H. Wiebe, her son Ronald, and 1 grandson-in-law. 

A celebration of Gert's life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona United Church. Interment will take place prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at the Altona Cemetery, everyone is welcome to attend.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home on Sunday, April 27 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
