George Peters

George Peters, age 67 years of Altona, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Brandon Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Susan (nee Boschman), their children Ed (Tina) Peters, Susan (John) Dyck, Mary Cox, Lisa Peters, Kathy Peters, and Pete (Theresa) Peters, as well as 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.  He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Elizabeth Peters, and one son-in-law Terry Cox. 

A private funeral service will be held with burial at the Chortitz Old Colony Church Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.  A maximum of 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time, masks are required.
