Eva Joss (nee Peters)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mom, mummer and grandma.  Mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on March 23, 2023.

She leaves to mourn her passing her three daughters - Lorna (Rick), Norma (the late Jerry), Linda (Brian); her ten grandchildren - Jeff, Ryan, Brianne, Robbie, Krystal, Adam, Brennen, Shayla, Stephen and Carlie; and twelve great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Suzie Funk, brothers Jake (Betty) Peters and, Bill (Esther) Peters.

Mom had a full life cooking, baking, and sewing patchwork quilts that she made with so much love. Mom started her working career at Perth's Dry Cleaners, then St. Vital Legion and finally found her calling as a health care aide at St. Boniface Hospital where she worked for twenty five years.

We want to thank the incredible staff at St. Boniface Hospital on 5E and 8th floor, palliative care. Thank you to Dr. Bhangoo and Dr. St. Godard. Thank you to the spiritual staff - Chaplins Justin and Chris.

Forever in our hearts, but she is now safe in the arms of Jesus.

We'll miss you.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona.  Ash interment will follow at the Blumenort South Cemetery.
