Eva Friesen (nee Wiebe)

Eva was born May 6,1967 to Jacob and Aganetha (Hildebrand) Wiebe in Chihuahua, Mexico. She lived 56 years 6 months and 17 days. She was the 6^th in a family of 9 children. At the age of 4 she and her family moved to a new settlement in Santa Clara, Paraguay. 

She was baptized on June 17,1986 upon the confession of her faith at the Sommerfeld Church in Santa Clara, Paraguay. On August 30,1987 she married Klaas Friesen. They shared 36 years together. They were blessed with 5 sons and 2 daughters. Francisco and Elisa of Horndean, David and Elizabeth of Horndean, Abe and Aganetha of Neepawa, Albert of Kellwood, Henry and Trudy of Rosenfeld, Eva and Susie still living at home. They also have 18 grandchildren. 

Klaas and Eva lived in Paraguay till they moved to Manitoba, Canada September 11, 2006. Klaas and Eva joined the Horndean Mennonite Church on October 27, 2013.

We as a family want to thank the doctors and Palliative Care for everything, they did for us. Also, a special thank you to the church, family, and friends for your support with prayers, meals, and visits. Thank you also to the Wiebe Funeral Home. May God bless you! 

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the Rhineland Mennonite Church in Altona with interment at the Horndean Mennonite Church Cemetery. Viewing will be at the Rhineland Mennonite Church in Altona on Monday November 27 from 3:00 - 5:00, and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
