Elmer E. Friesen

Elmer E. Friesen, age 81 years of Altona, formerly of Halbstadt, MB passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife Susie (nee Friesen), their children Glen (Pauline) Friesen, Rosella (Harold) Dyck, Barry (Kim) Friesen, and Charlene (Raymond) Klassen, as well as by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

A public burial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Altona Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church. Proof of vaccination will be required for those attending the memorial service at the church. A live stream of the service will be available by clicking the following link.
