Edwin J. Funk

Edwin Funk, age 61 years, of Altona, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Funk (nee Reimer), their children Brenda (Keith) Stoesz, Matthew (Crystal) Funk, Steve (Amy) Funk, Jennifer (Henry) Neufeld, and Carla Heinrichs, as well as 14 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his mother Margaret, 4 sisters and their families.  He was predeceased by his father Jacob B. Funk.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at the Altona Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and at the church prior to the service.
