Bishop William H. Friesen

Bishop William H. Friesen, age 93 years of Altona formerly of Roseville, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Eastview Place, Altona.

He is survived by his wife Anne (nee Martens), their children Mary (Frank) Rempel, Bill (Rosemary) Friesen, and Ed (Judy) Friesen as well as 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  He was predeceased by his daughter Martha.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Reinland Mennonite Church with burial at the Friesen Family Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Wednesday, March 29 from 1:00 -9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
