Amy Joy Giesbrecht, age 29 years of Winkler, formerly of Altona, Manitoba, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg.
She is survived by her parents Abe and Regina Giesbrecht, brother Doug (Janessa), sister Trish (Brad) and her family.
Amy's relationship with God inspired her to reflect God’s love to everyone she met. She sang, she laughed, she served, seemingly tirelessly. Amy’s dedication to others was clear in her care for mothers and babies as a midwife, her adventurous spirit took her to many locations and the gifts, letters and music she shared with us were rooted in her faith.
Amy's life, while unexpectedly short, was fully lived. She would take time to sit and listen to those around her, caring deeply, as she went from births to adventures to worship.
Our family would like to thank the health care community and the many who have cared for us as we grieve together.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Winkler Bible Camp grounds. Due to Covid-19 we ask those attending the service to remain in their vehicles and an FM broadcast of the service will be made available for those in the near vicinity.
